Welcome to Explora (explora.guide), a location-based discovery tool designed to help you explore points of interest near you, with audio narration and interactive maps. By accessing or using Explora, you agree to the following terms:
By using Explora, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Explora provides a web-based guide that uses GPS location to help users find and learn about nearby attractions. Features include a live map, audio narration, and a streamlined user interface optimised for mobile.
Explora requires access to your device's location to function effectively. Location data is used only to provide core app functionality and to monitor usage of the app. Location data is is not shared with third parties.
All content, including audio narration, map design, and curated information, is the property of Explora or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
Some location descriptions within Explora are generated using artificial intelligence. While we aim to provide helpful and accurate content, we do not guarantee that all AI-generated information is factually correct, complete, or free from interpretation errors. Users should verify important details independently.
You agree not to misuse Explora. Prohibited behaviours include but are not limited to:
Explora is designed to work on both Wi-Fi and mobile networks. Depending on your usage — including map loading, audio playback, and content updates — the app may consume mobile data. Users are responsible for any data charges incurred through their mobile provider. Where possible, we recommend connecting to Wi-Fi for the best experience.
Explora displays advertising content to help support the cost of development and hosting. These may include banners or sponsored points of interest. Ads are clearly marked, and no personally identifiable information is shared with advertisers.
We use services such as Google AdSense, which rely on cookies and device signals. Where required, you will be asked for consent before personalised advertising is enabled.
In the iOS app, advertisements are displayed in non-personalised mode only, in compliance with Apple’s App Store policies. Analytics (including Google Analytics) are completely disabled. No cookies are set and no tracking information is collected.

Explora is designed to be used while walking or stationary. Do not use the app while driving, cycling, or operating any vehicle or machinery. Always remain aware of your surroundings and use Explora in a safe and lawful manner.
Users must exercise their own judgment when visiting points of interest. Do not trespass on private property, enter restricted areas, or disregard local laws and signage.
Explora is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we aim to keep the information accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any point of interest, description, or map data. Use of the app is at your own risk.
Explora and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of the app, including but not limited to navigation errors, injuries, property damage, or legal consequences resulting from actions taken based on app content.
These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of Explora after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
We aim to make Explora available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or functionality. The app may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or for other reasons beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or permanently withdraw the Explora app or any of its features at any time without prior notice or liability.
Explora may include links to external websites, including those in advertisements or point of interest descriptions. These links are provided for your convenience only.
We do not control and are not responsible for the content, security, or practices of third-party websites. Accessing these sites is at your own risk, and you should review their own terms and privacy policies where applicable.
You may not access or use Explora through automated means, including robots, spiders, or scrapers. The content within the app is for personal, non-commercial use only.
Any attempt to systematically extract, copy, index, or reproduce data from Explora without prior written permission is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
Explora’s behaviour differs slightly depending on whether you access it through a web browser or the iOS app.

We aim to ensure all product descriptions and images are accurate. As TrayMat is made from a flexible material, slight variations in appearance may occur.
TrayMat is designed as a reusable surface for everyday travel use. It should be used responsibly and in accordance with common sense. We are not responsible for misuse of the product. TrayMat is designed to improve grip on most surfaces; however, performance may vary depending on surface conditions.
Orders are typically dispatched within 1 working day. UK delivery usually takes 2 - 4 working days. Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to postal delays.
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item for a full refund. To request a return, please contact us at hello@traymat.co.uk.
Returned items should be in a resalable condition. Unless the item is faulty or incorrect, customers are responsible for return postage costs.
We recommend using a tracked service for returns, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
Refunds will be processed within 5 working days of receiving returned items.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrayMat shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the product. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the item. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
We only collect the information necessary to process your order and provide customer support. Payments are securely handled by Stripe and we do not store any payment details.
Your information will not be shared with third parties except where necessary to fulfil your order (for example, delivery providers).
If you are not satisfied with your TrayMat, you may return it within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us at hello@traymat.co.uk to arrange a return.
